Hello, tiny internet!

I am glad to be here. As someone who spent her teenage years on Blogger and WordPress, following rich rabbit holes, Substack and every other social media medium feel like places where I can’t come alive anymore.

At the moment, I am writing an essay about this, diving into the concept of creative indifference, which helped me rewire how I relate my writing to the platform.

To prepare for this essay, I’ve been reading parts here and there from Friedlaender’s Creative Indifference from 1918. Václav Havel’s Letters to Olga was also of great help in understanding more deeply the nuance between a medium of expression and the environment that envelops us. The online world, social media, is an environment in which I can’t express myself anymore. I am either too stimulated or too induced into lethargy.

So, hello tiny internet. I found my way back.
